David Crampton, PhD
Associate Professor, Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences
Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations, room 115
In 1992, the Annie E. Case Foundation began the Family to Family Initiative. The fundamental goal of the initiative was to improve outcomes for children and families in the child welfare system through comprehensive system reform. For the past four years, Dr. David Crampton has been involved in a national committee evaluating the Family to Family Initiative. One of the evaluation sites was Cuyahoga County, which stands out among the anchor sites for its success in building the infrastructure of community partnerships. Dr. Crampton will discuss his work on the Initiative panel and discussants will talk about their experiences in the community as participants, and some of the policy and practice implications of the Family to Family model.
