Purposes:

  1. Identify provocative and challenging questions for Childhood Studies in the next decade
  2. Identify the strengths and limitations of Childhood Studies as a field
  3. Identify areas and types of research that are critically needed to advance the field
  4. Identify how Childhood Studies offers a unique perspective on child-related policies, and what policy issues the field is uniquely positioned to inform

Outcomes:

  1. Set a research and policy agenda to disseminate widely
  2. Build international relationships and future collaborations
