Child Policy Director Advocates for Incarcerated Youth

The Cleveland Plain Dealer recently published an op-ed piece written by Schubert Center Child Policy Director Gabriella Celeste. Professor Celeste’s article titled, Housing young criminals in adult prisons may put public at risk, addressed the issues surrounding putting juvenile offenders in the adult criminal justice system. Professor Celeste currently teaches the Child Policy and Experiential Learning in Child Policy courses, and oversees the Mann Child Policy Externship Program. Her research interests include child policy and juvenile justice.
